Had an amazing time with friends! The stunning Loch Leven nature reserve is just a short walk away, perfect for fishing, hiking, and enjoying the beautiful countryside views. We loved the nearby 18-hole golf courses with incredible scenery. The place is surrounded by beautiful landscapes that truly enhance the experience.

The dining options could use improvement. We were disappointed to find that the bar was closed for food after hours, which left us scrambling for dinner elsewhere.

My stay in a spacious Standard Double Room was enjoyable, especially the fantastic breakfast featuring local specialties like haggis. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, making dining experiences in the restaurant delightful. the hotel could benefit from some modernization in the common areas to enhance its charm.

Great access to local attractions including golf courses and stunning garden views. The historical significance and unique decor across the hotel add a touch of character that you'd expect from a place with such a legacy.

The cleanliness could use some attention, especially in the bathrooms—moldy grouting makes for a less than inviting experience, and I had to deal with a poor shower setup. Some meals served in Jock's Bar lacked a proper temperature, coming out lukewarm or worse. I also noticed that some basic amenities were lacking, like drinking glasses and adequate toiletries, which makes things a bit inconvenient.

The room was spacious and clean, but definitely showed signs of wear. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast selection, which had a nice variety. Unfortunately, the dining experience was let down by cold food and a lack of replenishment at the buffet. But the staff maintained a positive attitude, trying to meet our needs as best as they could.
